Our Story
In 1997/98, my child was diagnosed with dyslexia at age 8/9 and the school suggested transferring them to a special needs school. Driven by my desire to provide my child with opportunities for higher education and a successful career, I delved into researching dyslexia. However, I found limited resources on the topic. It was also concerning to see that the available psychometric tests were derived from foreign sources and not adequately suited for use in India.
Recognizing that western psychological theories were limited in their comprehension of the human mind and actions, I sought guidance from Indian psychological approaches. Through this exploration, I came across the Pancha Mahabhuta theory, which serves as the foundation of all existence. Applying these principles to gain insight into individuals, I devised assessments based on this theoretical framework. To ensure accuracy, reliability and global applicability, modern psychometric and statistical methods were utilized to standardize these tests. This work has earned international recognition, with over 18 peer-reviewed publications validating the high reliability and validity of these assessments, which are now used in multiple countries for research purposes.
Meanwhile, my child finished their schooling through the regular system and went on to study law, becoming a practicing lawyer in Bangalore. Inspired by this experience, I founded Swayam Analytics to assist and empower students and professionals to succeed. Swayam Analytics strives to comprehend human behavior through culturally relevant psychometric assessments, tailored specifically for the Indian ethos and psyche. Our scientifically sound and robust evaluations serve a wide range of industries including educational institutions, corporates, BPOs, GCCs, BFSI, and IT/Non-IT sectors, in order to promote better understanding and development of individuals.
